Does M.Plan has limited scope compared to M.Tech in Structural Engineering or M.Tech in Construction Management?

M.Plan and M.Tech both are great in their own terms. However, I suggest you to select based on your interest. M.Tech deals with more technical things while M.Plan deals with the actual planning. For instance, if you want to make a bridge, a planning student can help you to decide where it should be, what should be its length based on traffic. Regarding job opportunities, both have equal. Both can work as an analyst, a consultant etc. Also note that M.Plan requires a lot of field work compared to M.Tech. As a planner, you can’t sit in a office always as you need to go to field now and then. If you like field work more, go for M.Plan. If you are unsure what to choose (office or field), go for M.Tech
